Individual Membership

The Individual Membership gives adults, teens, college students and older adults unlimited use of the YMCA of Paterson fitness facilities.  Individual membership privileges include health & fitness facilities and classes, free fitness center orientations, guest passes, and A.W.A.Y. privileges at reciprocating YMCAs.  Specialty classes, if available, may require a nominal fee.


Family Membership

This membership gives your family unlimited use of YMCA of Paterson fitness facilities.  Family membership privileges include health & fitness facilities and classes, free fitness center orientations, guest passes, and A.W.A.Y. privileges at reciprocating YMCAs.  Specialty classes, if available, may require a nominal fee.


Group Membership

Group Memberships are Adult Annual memberships offered at a discounted rate to employees of area businesses, agencies, and organizations serving the Paterson area.  For more information on this membership type, please contact the Membership Director.


Joiner’s Fee

Upon joining the YMCA, an initiation fee is applied toward future equipment repair and replacement.  This is a one-time fee as long as membership is continuous.  You may rejoin within thirty (30) days of a lapse in membership without paying another joiner’s fee.  After that, you will be considered a new member.  The joiner’s fee applies to all membership categories except youth, teens, and clergy, and is non-refundable.


Bring a Guest

We ask guests to present a valid form of Identification and be accompanied by a Y member while using the Y Facility.  As a member, you may bring nonmember guests up to five times a year to the Y.  Nonmembers are limited to one visit per year.  If your same guest desires tovisit us again, we ask them to pay the Day Pass Fee. 


AWAY Program

The AWAY Program means your membership is honored at participating YMCAs wherever you travel.  You may find your local Y by dialing 866-USA-YMCA or visiting www.ymca.net.

MILITARY MEMBERSHIP - THE YMCA MILITARY OUTREACH INITIATIVE

The YMCA of Paterson offers a Military Outreach Initiative to address the needs of families of deployed military personnel who live far from a military installation and require access to child development, family strengthening, and health and well-being programming.  Eligible military families and personnel include active duty or deployed personnel of the Armed Services, their spouses and families (dependent children). Military memberships are given in 6 months intervals and must be renewed.
